The Midnight Grumble
Character Design · Illustration · Collection
A cast of spooky pugs inspired by vintage Halloween, campy horror, and retro monster movies. The Midnight Grumble combines playful character design, bold neon color, and comic-book details in one cohesive illustrated collection.
The Collection
The Midnight Grumble transforms classic Halloween monsters and costumes into a cast of spooky pug characters, each with its own pose, expression, and personality. Bold outlines, gritty halftones, neon color, and retro horror details tie the full collection together.

The 18-piece collection includes nine pug characters, eight supporting Halloween illustrations, and a mini art print, all created for the October 2026 edition of the Smug Pug Sticker Club.
